Sensitive Mommy’s Boy Beckham Can’t Take His Medicine

Is anyone surprised that Beckham got all pissy last night after he was coldly welcomed by to Los Angeles by Galaxy supporters? He probably cried about it later that night in his mega-million dollar mansion.

You have to wonder why this guy doesn’t understand that when you “commit” to a club and it’s fans, then force a loan for selfish reasons that causes you to miss over half the season, then come back and again “commit” to a club and it’s fans, you won’t generally be treated well. Galaxy supporters let the boos fly and Golden Balls vaulted a barrier and gave a “come on” gesture to fans that were heckling him…what a fucking tosser. The same can be said for the guy who jumped out of the crowd in an attempt to confront Golden Balls and had to be detained by security.

MLS and AEG want us to welcome this asshole back with open arms by cheering blindly, buying tickets and jerseys and generally pretending that Beckham hasn’t treated MLS and the league’s fans like garbage. I for one hope this treatment continues at every remaining match in which Beckham plays, especially if the Galaxy make a playoff run. MLS and AEG deserve every single bit of embarrassing press they receive because of Beckham. It probably won’t though. People will get bored with it and life will go on in MLS. The season will end, Beckham will opt of our his contract and we can all finally label this experiment for what is really is, a embarrassing failure.

I, for one, thought it was awesome when Becks delivered that great corner to Jordan, who scored, and Becks turned around and gave the death stare to the Riot Squad.

Is Becks a tosser? Yes. Does he raise the level of play in MLS? YES, and that is the most important thing.

The sooner he fecks off the better. Period.

Though it is the Galaxy we are talking about, so on second thoughts……

    Nice article Ginge.

    Kevin,

Seriously, what use is he regardless of how good he is when he is only with the team less than half the season, taking up a quarter of the cap space and saying he wants to miss most of next season too?
